Dr Gerard
Condon (President)
Gerard is a general dentist in a large group practice
of dentists, dental hygienists and dental technicians,
as well as being a Director of the Australian Dental
Council and a former President of the Australian Dental
Association (Victorian Branch). Gerard brings wide experience
to the Board especially in the areas of teaching, accreditation
and infection control, and is a member of the Australian
Dental Association (Inc)'s Infection Control Committee. |

John Boucher (Deputy President)
John is a general practitioner dentist in a group practice
in suburban Melbourne. John is a Senior Fellow of the
University of Melbourne, teaching Clinical Dentistry
to final year undergraduate students part time for the
past 25 years. John is also an examiner for the Australian
Dental Council, involved in the production and execution
of seven clinical examinations each year throughout
Australia. John has a background in dento-legal matters
having served on the Defence Committee of the Victorian
Branch of the Australian Dental Association amongst
other ADAVB committees for many years.
John’s main focus is on education and standards
in the delivery of dental care.

Dr Pam
Dalgliesh
Dr Pamela Dalgliesh
started her dental career as dental therapist and now
is a general dental practitioner with experience in
both the private and public sector. Pamela made the
shift from her private practice at Brighton Beach, to
being a Manager with Dental Health Services Victoria.
Currently she is working at North Yarra Community Health
which has a clinical focus for those who have a drug
and alcohol dependency and the homeless. Her interests
lie with quality, governance, and special needs dentistry.
Currently, Pamela is an Independent Director of the
Health Issue Centre and Goulburn Valley Health, Shepparton.
She is a past President of the Australian Dental Association
Victorian Branch, was the inaugural President Victorian
Women Dentists Association |

Ms Deborah Foy
Deborah currently works as an in-house lawyer at Eastern Health, a metropolitan public health service. She has worked in several government departments in both South Australia and Victoria on issues of access to transport, health and welfare services by low income households. More recently, she worked as a lawyer at the Department of Human Services in Victoria, mainly on legislative developments in public health regulation and the regulation of healthcare professionals. She has a BA, LLB (Hons) and a post graduate degree in Social Administration. |

Dr Vlad Hardi
Vlad is a general dentist who started his dental career as a public dentist in North Queensland. Over the past 28 years he has worked in his own private dental practice in Footscray. He is a past chairman of his local Australian Dental Association group, past president of the Endodontic Society (Victorian branch), and past president of the Australian Dental Association (Victorian Branch). |

Ms Pam
Leong
Pam holds qualifications in both dental therapy and
dental hygiene. Currently, she works in a specialist
periodontal practice, the dental unit of the Royal Children's
Hospital and in a rural private practice. Pam also holds
a lecturer position at the School of Dental Science,
University of Melbourne. She has experience in specialist
orthodontic practice and has held both management and
clinical positions in Community Dental Services and
the School Dental Service. Pam has a keen interest in
public dentistry and the education and development of
Oral Health Therapy Students and is a former President
of the Victorian Dental Therapist Association. |

Mr Craig
McCracken
Craig, a dental prosthetist, is employed as a full-time
TAFE teacher in the Department of Health and Biosciences
at RMIT University. Before his appointment to the Dental
Practice Board he served for 15 years on the Advanced
Dental Technicians Qualifications Board. His particular
interests include competency-based training and the
development of national standards. |

Ms Gabrielle
MacTiernan
Gabrielle is Chief Executive Officer of Plenty Valley
Community Health Services, in which capacity she is
actively involved in the management of public dentistry.
Previously she had many years experience both in local
government and as a consultant in the planning and management
of a wide range of human services. Her qualifications
include a Master of Social Work in organisational behaviour. |

Mr Peter Martin
Peter Martin is a retired secondary school principal who has experience in leading professional organisations at state and national levels. He founded the Australian Principals’ Centre (the first professional organisation owned and controlled by school principals) and has international experience having been part of every International Confederation of School Principals Congress since its first in 1993. He is currently part-time Executive Officer of the Australian Secondary Principals Association. He now spends much of his time in the health industry being Chair of Stawell Regional Health. He a member of DHSV’s Consumer Advisory Committee and Ethics Committee as well as the Primary Health Carer and Community Advisory Committee. He is a Minister’s nominee representing rural health services on the Council of Board Chairs. He is a Bail Justice and a keen member of his local Lions Club. |

Professor Michael Morgan
Michael teaches
at the School of Dental Science, The University of Melbourne
where he is currently Deputy Head of School. His teaching
responsibilities cover Dental Public Health, and his
research interests include clinical trials of dental
caries preventive agents. Mike is a registered Specialist
in Public Health Dentistry (Community Dentistry). |

Dr Andre Renzaho
Dr Andre Renzaho is a Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University in the School of Health and Social Development. Prior to this he spent 4 years as Program Quality Advisor with World Vision Australia. He is a qualified and experienced Public Health specialist. Dr Renzaho is recognised for his expertise in refugees (complex humanitarian emergencies) and migrants’ health. His experience over the last 15 years has included working with United Nations agencies and non-government organisations, covering sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, the pacific (Australia) and Asia. He is a respected and passionate African migrant community leader. He has worked tirelessly to promote multiculturalism and cultural competence within the health sector while devoting much of his time speaking to services providers and on behalf of the voiceless. He was the co-founder and former president of the African Association of French and Portuguese Speaking Background of Australia (2000-present). He is the convenor and chairperson of the African Migrant Review Panel, and the founder and executive director of the African Leadership, Learning and Advocacy Group Inc. |
